Nutritional Therapy
Nutritional Therapy gives you a powerful tool to improve your health and fitness. The theory behind it is not new. More than two thousand years ago, Hippocrates told his followers "Let food be your medicine and let medicine be your food." But today, nutritional therapy has its basis in the latest scientific research too.
Nutrition Therapy
Nutrition therapy works with you as an individual – we all look different on the outside, so why should we be the same on the inside. We aren’t! We have very different abilities to process nutrients, and so we have very different requirements for them. With so much about diet and health on the TV, in magazine and so on these days, and it’s difficult to work out how it may all apply to you.
Health in Nutrition can help you to find out what your body needs, and whether you’re tired every afternoon and low in energy, or if suspect a food intolerance or have an on-going health problem such as IBS, or want help with sports nutrition, we can show you how you can eat yourself healthy.
Nutritional Therapist
During 20 years working in investment management, I saw, and felt myself, the effects that stress and poor eating habits can have on people’s health. I saw how poorly we treat the marvelous machine that is our body, and how we continually fail to provide it with the fuel that it needs. This interest lead me to study Nutritional Therapy at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in Richmond and become a Nutritional Therapist.
I believe in a sensible, sustainable approach to eating that allows people to incorporate appropriate dietary and lifestyle changes into their busy schedule. I have appeared on Radio Essex, and had articles and reviews in the Essex Enquirer and The Echo as I spread the word of how nutritional therapy can help people. As a Nutritional Therapist, I am a member of BANT (British Association of Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy) and a Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council practitioner.
